My first hatchlings

Meet Tweety on the left, 1 week and 1 day old, and Miracle on the right, 6 days old. Out of 8 that were fertile, I had 2 hatch. They are a cross between Buff Orpington and Americauna.

Thank you. With Tweety I do not, but Miracle does. I had brought momma hen inside due to having an aggressive younger roo in the flock. The day that Miracle was hatching I had taken momma outside to potty before it arrived. While putting herback in with the eggs, she jumped out to attack my dogs and took half of the shell off. I didnt think that the baby would make it, but so far so good.

Tweety and Miracle are gorgeous. Miracle was lucky she survived that. She must be a very strong chick.
