my first little hatch

I have 5 hens...2 of them went broody a few weeks ago so I decided to let them hatch out a couple eggs so got some fertile ones from a friend. I've only had them about a week so thought I'd go out and try to candle them to see if they were viable. (didn't think they were this far along...lol) Imagine my surprise to hear chirping and find two very proud surrigate mama's fighting over who gets to sit on them. They've been wedged in the same next for weeks fighting over the eggs too.
