Hi all,
I have four options for who layed the smaller egg.
A) Butterscotch (New Hampshire red)
B) Sky (platinum Sussex)
C) Dutchess (barnavalda)
D) Lucabelle (Ancona)

I have owned chickens for a while and the other egg in picture is just for size comparison. Thanks in advance for your help

I’ve found the only way to be absolutely sure who laid what is to become a peeping Tom nest box lurker and watch to see what comes out of which chicken!:gig:oops: I have 3 EEs that all lay very slightly different colors and wanted to know who lays which color. One day I saw two of them in the nest boxes at the same time so I made a mental note of who was where so I could mark the eggs. When I came back, both eggs were in the same box!

As far as catching them, can you grab them off the roost at night to do a pelvic check?

Good idea! They were so tame as young
