My first silkie hatched today,

I bought my silkies when they were 3 weeks old and I hatched my first off spring today , his /her head has a large bump on it, Is this normal?

i also hatched a silkie that looks just like that with the same bump. hope its normal!

3 months ago I hatched out silky eggs I purchased online but none of them had bumps like that,

Not to worry, it's called a vaulted skull and is something that most Silkie breeders like to see in their chicks. Enjoy your new baby!

Congratulations! Dont't worry about the bump, it is called a "vaulted skull," and it comepletely normal and even desirable fr showing Silkies. Cute chicky, by the way!
