Here is my first successful broody. She is a hatchery BJG 1 1/2 years old. here she is with her "mutt" babies...

Sooo cute! Good job mama broody! I have a broody sitting rightt now and chicks are due to hatch this weekend, can't wait!

Stevebaz- I have BSL's too but they all have red on the neck.... she actually looks a lot better but she's been sitting for a long while and she's also molting

I bought 3 of the Jerseys...but they really aren't that big, probably since they are hatchery. interestingly enough, one of the crosses from one of my Jersey's and one of my Red Roos...turned out all black and HUGE! LOL
