I've had hens go broody a couple times, and gotten good results from that. However, to produce the numbers of chicks I need I got a small hobby incubator little giant, 42 egg capacity with turner. After a couple failed attempts, resulting in 100% dead in shell I finally have it adjusted right. I got 27 chicks out of 42 eggs and am starting the next batch tomorrow.
