My husband thinks I've lost it! I have 24 turkey eggs in my incubator and I am having to force myself to leave them alone. LOL. They are on day 8 and I've candled twice, once when we put them in, to make sure they were fertilized, and again today to see what could be seen. I am not seeing any veins (or if I am, I'm too ignorant to know it) but a few of them have a dark "spot" in them. I was recently informed that becuse turkey egg shells are thicker than chicken it would be day 10-15 before the veins are prominent. I wanted to ask some turkey experts, since I have no frickin' clue what I'm doing.....Other than agrivating my chickens by going out to their coop every so often, just to check out what they're doing.
