I have 6 beautiful, 4 1/2 month old, healthy "hens" (as they were guaranteed to all be females) . . . apparently "Rebel" did not get the message that he is a she and has turned into a gorgeous adolescent Rhode Island Red Rooster. I can not have a rooster and would like to give Rebel and his favorite girl (Ursula) to a new home where they can be a part of a welcoming backyard flock.

This is two weeks ago. Rebel is at the back and Ursula is front left. Rebel's Tail has really developed and I will send a new photo if requested. I am on Long Island and will gladly deliver the kids to whomever wishes to adopt them.

Thank you. Its good to be here. I hope to use this resource to be a better caregiver to my little backyard flock. It's unfortunate that my first post is trying to reduce that flock by 1/3.

Welcome to the BYC flock! We are glad you joined us!
