Meet my flock of six hens and five roosters!
The Actual Flock
This flock consists of the six hens and my rooster Frost, a Silkie/Orphington mix. The order goes as so:

-Frost
-Red Raggles
-Wyandotte 1
-Wyandotte 2
-Silkie
-Mystery Hen
-Mystery Hen 2

Meet Frost.

He’s the big white rooster in the middle. He’s a Silkie Orphington mix, but he’s HUGE. He’s not too fond of people, but he’s a great rooster. He doesn’t allow the other roosters to mate his hens, but he allows them into his territory to share feeding grounds and dust bathing places. He managed to win over all the hens within a day with his ravishing handsomeness.

Meet Red Raggles.

She’s a sassy Rhode Island Red. She likes to boss around the other hens to get the best scratching spots, and dust baths. She’s also one of my best layers and friendliest chickens.

Meet the Wyandotte’s.

They are my rescue hens. They lay the most eggs and all of my hatching eggs come from them. Not the most fond of people, but still very pretty!

Meet Silkie.

She’s a Silkie. And by far my favorite chicken (but don’t tell he chickens!). She even sleeps inside! She’s also not necessarily part of the flock, because she thinks I’m her rooster 🤦🏽‍♀️. She just kind of hangs out close for the protection of Frost from the other roosters. But the moment I’m outside, she appears at my side, like a little white shadow.

Meet the Mystery Hens.

I call them “mystery” because I don’t know their breeds. #2 last blue eggs so... I’m not really sure. They’re pretty flighty.

That’s the end of the original flock! Now we have the Bro Flock.

Bro Flock:
-Bruce
-Chewbacca (Chewie)
-Houdini
-Smooth Rooster (idk)

Meet Bruce.

He’s an old Buff Orphington rooster. He’s got some frostbite on his comb, and it’s healing now. He is my friendliest rooster, as well as my biggest.

Meet Chewie.

Sorry for the bad pic. He’s my Cochin Frizzle. He’s got the spunkiest personality, and he’s Bruce’s bestie.

Meet Houdini.

He’s the white rooster in the back. He’s a silkie/Cochin frizzle mix. If Chewie is spunky, Houdini is ten times more. He’s also an escape artist (hence the name.).

Meet Smooth Rooster.

Yeah... not the most creative name. Just because he’s got smooth feathers. He’s Houdini’s half brother.

And we have the chicks! Meet Hawk and Breakfast.

Hawk is a Dominique and Breakfast is a Buff Orphington. They’re three weeks old now.
That’s all the chickens for now! I’ll do the pigeons later.

Anyways, I’m gonna do the rest of my personal pets as well!
Here we have
-Kiwi
-Peach
-Willow
-Spaghetti
-Onyx

Kiwi and Peach are my Afghan pigeons.

They flew away once in excitement, and a lot of confusion later, came back. They’re also being very on the fence about laying eggs right now.

Meet Willow

Willow is my one and a half month old Nigerian dwarf goat. She likes to go on walks and is very bossy. She lovvves climbing mesas and tall cliffs, and like most of us, has a small streak of insanity.

Meet Spaghetti.

Shes my gopher snake. She’s a very grumpy snake as well. But she still looks forward to her food!
Please don’t kill gopher and bull snakes. They can be a great help around the yard for rodents. They are NOT rattlesnakes without a rattle, and no, they are not venomous. Yes, they might eat small chicks, and that might be a problem, but please just MOVE them, not kill them.

Meet Onyx.

She’s my ball python. She’s my best eating snake, never missing a meal! And she’s also the friendliest. She loves to crawl up your sleeves and poke her head out.

Sorry but, I don't think I will ever warm up to snakes and if one crawled up my sleeve, they would be carting me off to the funeral home.

I love your flock and your pets, all of them are just so precious! You Afghan Pigeons are stunning by the way, also it's crazy that your ball has never missed a meal! Usually they skimp out on eating a lot.
