Hi everyone, just thought I'd post a cute pic of my guys from yesterday. They were apparently feeling pretty chill after a day of exploring in the pasture, lol. I just *knew* they'd all jump down when I came to take the pic but I got lucky! So here they are, two RIRs, a Buff, my SLW roo and my darling Black Star girl. The only one I've named so far is the roo- "Steve", since he's such a peacekeeper between the girls. Named after Jerry Springer's bouncer (ya, I know, but it just came out last weekend, lol)- he settles squabbles in an instant and the ladies get right back to the serious business of scratching! LOL



I've been hanging mostly in the "duck corner" but want to come play on the chicken side, too!

i have about what you have except i lost a SLW hen, and i never have had a black star... nice little flock!

Thank you! My BStar is a love. I didn't pick her really, the lady just handed her to me to hold while she tried to catch the SLW (hubby wanted him- but again doesn't like chickens)- and after a few minutes of her just *cuddling* with me, I said, "please say this one's a hen.. I love her!!"

She is still a sweet babygirl. My Orp is NOSY as all get-out. :
