Hello everyone!
This thread is to talk about and show my flock of four chickens, which will most likely keep growing in a month or so!
My first ever chicken was Finn, a baby chick no more than two weeks old who was found abandoned under the horse barn. Our neighbors have chickens, so one of the hens must have hatched him out and left him here. We took him in, and for 7 months now he has lived in the house with two dogs and a duck. He is so spoiled, too! He also wears a diaper most of his time.

(that is yogurt all over his face. he doesn't have any manners!)
Just a few days ago on Sunday, I got my first two hens, Speckles, a Wyandotte, and Blu, a Rhode Island Red.

They have really made themselves at home! Just today, Blu laid an egg and for about 3 minutes she was squawking and announcing to everyone that she had laid one!
And again today, I got a Buff Orpington, Buttercup! She too has made herself at home, running around with the girls and biting the ducks.

And that is all I have for now, I would love some more in the future! They are so addictive!
