I have two four month old bronze breasted turkey. They eat scratch grain in the evening when they are shut up in the brooder for the night and durning the day they free range. Yesterday while I was not home a bad storm came and one turkey took cover and I found the other in a puddle soaking wet and cold. They haven't been under a heat lamp since they were almost three months old. But I did plug it back in so that could warm up and dry off. I wrapped the really wet one in a towel and brought inside for a while. Then after I dried it off some I put in the brooder under the heat said a prayer. I checked it a 6am this morning and it had moved its self but its still real weak and have some heavy breathing going on. Is there anything I can do for it or just wait and see if it'll pull through? I live in south Louisiana so it's always warm and humid. So will turn the heat lamp off after the sun is shining on their brooder.
