My new chicks from Murray McMurray Hatchery arrived on Tuesday. I received a "Free Surprise Chick" along with Red Star and Black Star pullets. Can anyone give me a guess about this "penguin marked" surprise chick might be?

Actually, I think I just figured it out. Can someone confirm it's likely a Barred Plymouth Rock?

McMurray doesn't seem to sell Olive Eggers. The only ones I see on the website that look like that chick and have feathered legs are the Black Langshan and French Black Copper Marans.

It definitely isn't. A barred rock should have a pale head spot and clean (not feathered) legs.
You are right. The chick began to develop feathers on the feet, but not the same density as a Chochin. I'm fairly certain, based on what's available at Murry McMurray, that it's a Black Langshan.
