So fluffy has not layed any eggs for a few days now but still stays in the nesting box. I took out the ping pong ball to see if that helps. I haven't seen her out and about or eating. She is almost 7 months old and started laying eggs early September. Any ideas???suggestions???

Is she puffing up and or flattening herself in the box when you approach?
Does she shriek or bite when you put your hand near her?
When removed from the nest, does she go straight back cluck, cluck, clucking the whole way?
Her expression says Broody.

Does she puff up and screech at you when you try to touch her? If you pick her up and move her out of the nest, does she run around clucking like crazy? If she does any of these things, then she is broody.

Pretty much all of the above

Being broody means she is trying to hatch eggs. Do you want her to? Do you have a rooster? If not, the eggs will not hatch and you will probably want to try to break her of her broodiness.
