they are one and half week old. I cant really tell them apart yet, there are two that have darker fuzz on the top of their head but i dont know if that will change once their big girl feathers come in. We have been waiting to name them because of the fact that we cant tell them apart, lol. They are too cute

How cute~ I have to say I love this stage the most because its before they get awkward but they still growing.

Great photos!

omgosh i have seen pics of the Akward stage and i am not looking forward to that, lol, they are too cute now.

Adorable!

One of the reasons I got a selection of breeds, all different, was to be able to tell them apart. Then I bought two laying pullets from a BYCer and had a heck of a time learning how to tell them apart. It's easy, now. So I'm hoping I'll be able to accomplish the same task with the two Welsummer chicks I bought 8 weeks ago, along with the BR, RIR, and two bantam cochins I *can* tell apart from each other.

gryeyes you will have to tell me how to tell them apart, lol

i remember when i was a teenager, i had two pet RIR and i named them Tame One and Two Tame One......i could easily tell them apart cuz one was lighter than the other. what kind of chicks do you have there? cute pics! loved the close up!

I have 6 Golden comets and 2 Amber links, i can tell the difference between two of them as they have a littlte darker spot on the top of thier heads but i dont know if that is going to be like that when they get all their big girl feathers, lol. I love the close ups too, i am loving my camera, i have a Nikon D3000 and am in love with it!!!!!!

Great pictures and cute chicks!

It is amazing how fast they grow their feathers, isn't it?
