My girls are FINALLY in their coop!

I am SO excited to have them off my kitchen table. I can't believe the amount of dust and stink that 8 8-week-old chicks produce!

They are still locked inside the coop until we put the hardware cloth on the run, but they have SO much space to run and dust themselves! They survived their first night last night and acted so happy and quiet today! I'll post some pictures soon!

lol.... we've had one hen in our kitchen for 4 days and that was enough! I can only imagine having 8! We were busy with the coop all day so didn't have time to do damage control in the kitchen. Will have to tackle that shavings and all the mud and grass we tracked in all day today in the morning. Congrats on your big move!

Congrats on the big move! I understand the dust and smell issue...I'm dealing with that until I get my coop finished and the girls moved in!

i know the feeling of finally getting them outside, its the same amount of work, but feels like so much less when they arent in the house. congrats on finally getting them outside!
