My goose

I have a Toulouse goose this is her first time laying eggs . Now she has not made a nest of any kind she’s just laying the eggs where ever she is laying I have found 3 frozen eggs already . Any ideas on why she is doing this ?

Yeah but they don’t go in there since a mink killed all the chickens . She tend to lay down with the calf and my two goats

Is she in a barn or outside? Perhaps making a nesting area for her would help entice her to lay in a single spot.

She isn't ready to set yet. When she is she will find a spot that suits her and make a nest. She may be waiting for better weather or just can't decide on the right spot yet.

So far she has layed her eggs in 4 diff arnt spots . She’s got a inside and a outside place but don’t seem to lay their .

I don’t know but she has 4 different spots she’s been dropping her eggs off at . I have to go find them other wise the raccoon where one area is will get them .

other wise the raccoon where one area is will get them .

Also, that is troublesome. A raccoon can also kill a setting goose, not that you'd want her broody on infertile eggs. But it sounds like instead of worrying about when she's not laying in the same spot you should work on building her an area that is predator proof where she can be safe enough to lay her eggs in the same spot.
