my gosling only eats from the water dish

I noticed my gosling seems to refuse to eat out of their feeder but will gobble up anything i put in with the water dish. the lil baby will stir up the food i put in there with its foot and scoop up the crumbles from there. is there a way i. an tech it to like the dry stuff? :/
im just worried it may not be eating enough.

I've had best luck when providing moistened feed to young goslings and ducklings. It appears to be easier for them to swallow.

That's how geese should eat, the dry stuff can choke it.

Good to know. its honestly very cute but I’m only concerned because of how often it needs to be cleaned and it being contaminated with poop instantly

The geese don't care. Get a taller feed dish that it can't poop in.
