My guinea has a leg injury

At some point in time this guinea got very fine fishing line wrapped around her leg. We did not know about until she showed up with a very swollen leg. We removed the string and her leg started to bleed. The flow was pretty heavy. What can I do to help her? Will the bleeding stop on its own?

Rinse the leg off. Then wrap it in gauze or clean material, and tape. Not tight. You may want to put antibiotic ointment on it.
