[Ok - so it's a fact. The place I got my chicks from are not so great at getting the orders right. Our 6 Plymouth Barred Rocks turned out to be Silver Laced Wyandottes (which was fine by me, I like them too even if they do spaz 24/7!)

But now, my pretty white little sexlink hen Snowflake did a big ol Cock-A-Doodle-Doooooo!!!!! when she came out of the hen house this morning.

I froze... it was afterall just a weak little "I'm trying to learn this" scratchy, laryngitis type of doodle doo... but a definite rooster type crow.

Now, it's been a while since I had roosters, and they were not this breed, so I am bummfuzzled. Is my baby Snowflake a Snowman? and how about my other little girl Creampuff (hen with brown spots on her wings in pics) Hoping maybe some of you with a little more experience can help us. Thanks in advance for your expertise! Chris & Aimee

ps: Notice our "Plymouth Barred in the second pic... yep - Silver laced spazzdot!)

Welp, thanks girls! Just as we suspected! We do have a few red sexlinks too, definitly girlie girls. Oh my... should I keep them both, or will they just fight all the time? My experience with my past roosters were constant fighting, then again, if my memory serves me right I got them from a man who had lots and lots of roosters tied up to 55 gal. drums. (a game cock farm.) Silly me, was so young I didn't know what he did with alllll those roosters!
