My hen is acting strange

She is walking around very slowly. I threw her some scratch ,but she only walked over to the feed and pulled her head in. I only saw her get some water.
* About one year old and has not molted
*Golden comet (sex link) parents

I'm no help. I just wanted to say i'm sorry. I also have a hen that is acting "weird".

What is today...the day for weird acting hens?!? I have one too!

Black Giant, it will help others to help you if you could answer the following questions:

1) What type of bird , age and weight.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
4) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
5) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
6) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
7) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
8) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
9 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
10) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
11) Describe the housing/bedding in use

Saves alot of back and forth posts asking the individual questions.

I saw my hen looking strange one day, kindof waddling around the yard. I bent down to see if I could see what was wrong with her and out popped a soft egg. Maybe she is having trouble laying an egg? Hope she isn't egg bound.

Has she been laying? did she lay today?
