This isn't normal for her. She lays down when I'm near and will lay there even after I walk away. Is she wanting bred?

She has chosen you to be her Tom. If you have a Tom and want them to breed just stay near and she will stay sitting. He will do his duty and you could have fertilized eggs

All our girls choose us first, but eventually settle for the toms. Well all except our pet BBW. If a Tom gets on her she just gets up and off her goes.

When mine first did it, I thought she was sick! So I called the vet and the vet said that I should definitely bring her in right away. I decided to do a little research and wow did I feel stupid, lol.

Some positions.. Napping turkey in foreground (`expectant' turkey nearest caller). Overheated turkey: (easily relieved) Presenting (`oh, a friendly turkey!') turkey hen: In the evenings, those that assume the position can be lifted like footballs and tucked under one arm for easy transport to run (are usually `purring' - sounds like `cat motor').
