My hen is limping and has a deformity or growth

on its foot. Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do or what it might be?

Bumble Foot. Look it up for remedies, because I've never dealt with it personally.

Soak your hen in warm espom salt bath for 15 - 30 minutes to make the scab easy to pull off. There may be a puss plug that comes off with it. If not, see if you can find some hard cheesy pus in the foot and dig it out with sterile tweezers. Spray the wounded foot liberally with Vetericyn and wrap it with sterile cotton on open wound and vet wrap, but not too tight. Change the dressing/ wrap very 2 days and repeat treatment as needed. Post pix of the underfoot after soaking and before wrapped. Good luck!
