My hen, actually a bantam Light Brahma, is really struggling. She's gotten very wobbly on her feet and stumbles sideways at times, as if she's lost her balance. Is this normal? She's so unhappy! I've let her out in the yard for a bit, but I took her in when she started to get the shivers again. She's still eating and pooping, but she just wants to huddle in the back of a cat crate.
This bird, until this week, was perfectly healthy and the top hen in the whole yard. A benevolent despot, but the undisputed boss, even of the much bigger standard Cochin and Easter Eggers. I wonder if she's depressed and worried she'll lose her standing?
