My hen wants to roost on the back porch instead of in her roost - Help!

What is your coop like and what is your climate?
Posting pics of coop and adding location to profile can help garner viable answers/suggestions.
She may be low bird and coop may be too small and/or too hot for comfort.

This is the nest box, roost, and two pictures of the outside of the coop. I had a hard time getting pictures to load and post! Yes, our roost is shorter than recommended. That was my mistake! But for a year now, the hens haven't seemed to have minded. Now, Artie, the black and white hen, is wanting to sleep on the back porch. My friend suggested perhaps its because we bring her in and give her treats when we find her out there, before returning her to the coop! But it is strange that she is separating herself from her "flock" and I've thought it might help to have another hen of her coloring for her to pair up with, but I'm not sure that adding a stranger would help - they wouldn't necessarily become 'best buds' after all. The new hen may simply make friends with the other two and leave Artie out once again.

X2

If all checks or and she's just being a goober retraining is generally fairly easy.
Securing them inside the coop during roosting hours is pretty important protection against predators, so making needed adjustments (if any are identified once we see your setup) and retraining her would be priority for me

We have a good lock, but we usually don't lock the coop till after dark, mid-evening because of our schedule.
