Truffles the chic is no longer a chick. She has grown into a hen. Her 1st birthday was actually last month. Anyways, she has started pecking me about a couple months ago. She has gotten to the point off bruising me very badly and it hurts! It's gotten to the point where I have to put her up in order to feed and water the other hens. I've figured out she either wants to be held or fed meal worms. I've tried being firm with her as well but that just gets her even more riled up. I think it's because I've spoiled her since she was a chick but she only does it to me. She won't harass anyone else like that. It's not a big deal to me but I just wish I could know what she's trying to tell me! I saw other post of Roos doing the same but she's a hen. Has anyone else had this problem?
