I've been watching some wild song thrush birds build a nest and lay eggs in our garden, however the father seems to have dissapeared and the mother is not showing up very often. and the eggs are starting to get cold. to check if the eggs were even valid I attempted to make a candler. however I do not know if my results are good or not

Welcome to BYC.🙂
You honestly should leave songbirds eggs in the nest. The parents will usually come back. Contrary to popular myth, the parents will accept the egg even if it has been touched by human hands.
Hard to tell what I am seeing with your homemade candler.

There’s a Migratory Bird Act that makes it illegal to disturb wild bird nests, if you are in the USA.
Which means you should leave the eggs/nest alone.

How long has the nest been active? If there are only a couple eggs, they may still be building a clutch.
There does not appear to be any development yet but they may not have started setting on the eggs yet.
