MY INCUBATOR HAS DROPPED 20 DEGREES

hi so I had my incubator set at 37.5 when I went to bed I have 3 9 day old eggs and 13 4 day old eggs I went to check the bator in the morning (8 hours ) and it was 18 .2 degrees the eggs were cold
I am freaking out the temp has fluctuated a lot during this incubation but the eggs have progressed is there any hope

What kind of incubator is it? Is it name brand, unknown from China, or a homemade one? Your eggs may still be alive, its a slight possibility, but mostly not.

It’s a Brinsea octagon 20 digital iv used it to hatch quite a few times i just hope they hatch thankyou for responding

iv got the temp up to 35.2

What I would do it move it to warmer room or rap a blanket or towel around the incubator, but depending on the model you may not be able to put a blanket around it.

I’ll try find a new incubator and I’ll have to buy some new eggs lucky I was given the other incubator I’ve got a heat lamp by the incubator which is keeping it a at a kinda stable temp but I will do some research thankyou very much

Well if you have the same problem with the new one, or want to try the old one then I would bump up the temp up if it starts dropping a lot, I only bump mine up by a degree or 2, but in your case you may need to bump it up 5 degrees until you see it raising to were it needs to be, once its their and if it has no problem with over heating then if I were you I would keep the temp set to 38.1 cuz it will drop some.
