Hello everyone!!!
I've been looking at BYC for some time now to glean info and decided to join at last. I have been keeping chickens for 7 years specifically Black Rock and rescued battery Warrens, who arrive in a dreadful condition but with lots of TLC soon come back into good condition.
I decided 3 weeks ago I would get some Pekin Bantams I have 6 at present 2 Frizzle, 3 Mille Fluer and a Mille Fluer Cockerel. They are delightful in both character and looks. The lady that sold them to me has been breeding them for a long time and she kindly let me have 12 fertile eggs which are now in my incubator and I cannot wait for them to hatch!!!!
I live in Somerset UK high up on the Mendip Hills and have a smallholding with a flock of Dorset Horn and Poll Dorset Sheep and Mangalitza pigs which I also breed they are fabulous and a great joy to me.
