my kid won this young black chicken at the fair last week and I dont know what breed it is. can anyone help me?

If you know its a pure bred then Black Australorp is most likely. Check the bottom of her feet. Yellow = Black Jersey Giant, White/Pink = Black Australorp.

Yep. She could be a Jersey Giant. Its also just about as likely she is a mixed breed. Hard to say for sure.
