My latest cage

Here is my latest above ground cage. I mainly use these for growing out young stuff. All metal except for the 2x4s that the tin roof is screwed to. Also I covered the top with mobile home roof coating to help keep it cooler.

don't you have problems with coons reaching through at night?

I've got some young turkey and some young peafowl in there now. I've got a canine security task force.

Once in a blue moon I'll lose something but predator losses are very rare here.

And those task forces are fun to have around too. If an owl on the night of the blue moon gets one then it's just payment for all the other vermin they get.
