My leghorn hen's comb has gradually decided to droop all the way over one eye

What's with this? I have 5 leghorns, and only 1 has this freaky comb.

Is it a sign of age?

They're not laying much at all. Maybe 1 between the 5 of them per day. So I'm wondering if they're just old now.

Ideas?

That's about how the combs were with my Leghorns. One fell over her eye from point of lay onward. The others were a little smaller and didn't cover the eye.

A friend once told me that drooping combs were a sign of illness, but I know that can't be true at least in my case. My four RSLs all have large, floppy combs and are perfectly healthy. However I have read that droopy combs can accompany molting or not laying for a time.
