So after rescuing a clutch of eggs after the mom was eaten by a hawk I put them into an incubator and one hatched. BE-Bop.... He was born on aug 19th. Poor lil girl is all by herself and doing really good until now. She started doing this open mouth gulping like she was out of air. Started when she walked around and even sometimes while sitting in her coop. So I took her down to my vet today : (. HE is pretty sure she has heart problems. She does these lil fainting spells too.... He gave her an antibiotic shot and a steriod injection to see if it might be a sickness and if she is still doing it monday then she might have to be put down cuz we dont want her to suffer. It makes me super sad...... Hope it helps! He thinks it happened due to in breeeding....
