This is the chick I posted about that is the only one I have had start out pure yellow, then his feathers started coming in blue. He is sure turning out to be pretty, but I'm not sure what color to call him.
It's hard to tell in the picture but his neck is silver with grey tips and his wings are blue and dk. blue barred, - the barring is faint but definately there.
Don't mind his eye - I think he got in the wrong place in the coop last night and got pecked really well. It was puffy this morning but is much better tonight.
Do you think he has any merit for breeding? I love his frosted color. He is lightly frizzled and I might consider him for my newly developing sizzle project.
