My chicken today I noticed she's limping. I turned her over on her back to look at her foot and the foot is hot and slightly swollen. I didn't see anything else out of the ordinary. What could this be??

She may have bumblefoot. I have no experience with that but, if you put "Bumblefoot" in the search box , you should find a lot of responses on dealing with it. If her symptoms don't sound the same, you could post in detail -- photos would be great, at "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread. The folks there can give you good advice and suggest treatment as well. Good luck.

@JulieJo1216 I think you meant to post this under emergencies? Please follow the OP advice and get a photo of the foot and post this to the emergencies forums to help you get the advice you need.

Wishing your chicken a full recovery.

Oh I thank you all so much!! I will defiantly go to that emergency thread you put up and post a picture for them. No opened sore just swollen and no scab. I cleaned it and bandaged it. So I will see what else on that thread that they can tell me. Thanks a million!! I did not know about that thread for emergency advice.
