wonder if some one can tell me

my little guinea girl is doing fine and the hens are doing pretty good but my little guinea girl sits on a the highest perch and yells ( POT RACK POT RACK) then she sound like she is cussing at them I can't begin to try to make the noise but it is one syllable and she screams this.

I look out to see what has her so upset but I can't see a dog cat raccon snake oppossume bird or anything to get her so worked up, the chickens are not going off they doing chickens things so she does this oh I have seen this on and off there donesn't seem to be a reason it is not a pain and it is no discomfort for me or my neighbors I just want to know why, is she sad or is she wanting another of her kind or ...I don't know she is getting along with the chickens better she can drink with them and eats on the outskirts when she was not even allowd to be with them they are now letting her closer.

Guineas can be very loud. It surely wouldn't hurt for her to have a few of her own kind. I think she would like that. It's pretty normal for guineas to yell like that.

I second chicmom's assessment. She needs a guinea companion or two. My guineas and chickens get along fine, but they do self-segregate. They aren't bonded by any means. It's also breeding season; that may be part of it?

Yeah, it's normal. There are some things around everyhere and htere that will scare her and she'll sound the alarm. They're loud mouthes! If you get more they will 'talk' to each other by yelling like that, nothing to worry about.
