Crowing
I have three laying age girls, 2 barred rocks and one Buff Orp. My littlest girl who lays the most consistently (literally every day since January even through a week of nearly two feet of snow) and lays the smallest, cutest eggs laid TWO today for the first time!
I was getting a little worried because while they've been eating their fermented feed morning and night their dry bowl, which they usually visit a couple times during the day, has been neglected since a spike in temp. Also, they've moved into a new coop and had to watch four tiny peepers invade their old house.
Today I went to collect eggs and found two in Karen's box, totally identical and adorable!
I apologize for the crappy picture; I dropped my Kindle and the camera shifted under the protective outer case
Karen's are the two on far right
