My Llama Mimouche is in Stage 1 - Prepertory Phase

Mimouche decided to get started early (she is due 3/31 (Most Lama's gestation is 11 1/2 months but they can safely have them 10 1/2 - 12 months)! My stud Star Light's first cria (baby)! She most likely will go tomorrow morning but might make it till monday! I am so exited! I will post pictures soon!

It's gonna happen today! She is large and red. (those of you at an approrite age now what I am talking about) So with all the other signs she has been giving us we should have a baby on the ground by this afternoon! (Llama's(I would believe alpaca's too but I don't have them so IDK) normaly give birth in the morning to mid-afternoon becuase in the wild that baby has to be up and dry before it drops down to sub-zero temps at night) WOOHOO

There are llama's the whole world over! LOL But I live in NE Ohio

Here are some pics of the Mommy and Daddy to be.

She is still progressing but she is going slower than expected so it might be tomorrow! But soon!
