My lonely hen started laying again!!!

I have a Light Brown Leghorn that is at the bottom of the peaking order. She has now laid her 2nd egg, and she is all by herself. The other 10 hens just pick on her like crazy and so does the rooster. She is really good with the baby ducks. She just looks at them and lay's down next to them that I think I could give her some little chicks to raise.

Poor thing! So glad to see she's adjusted well. By the way, she might or might not raise any chicks. Most likely she won't unless she goes broody. But she sounds like a great baby duck babysitter!

She wanted to go back in with the others so I let her. It didn't take 3 minutes when my rooster ATTACKED her with vengeance. Once I found her I put her back in with the ducklings and she calmed down right away. Then I put in my baby chicks in with her and she is putting them in their place but I think she likes them.
