My Lynnwood Washington Coop!!!!

Kids came to me and said they want chickens........SO I got out my brain- and my saws and built them my coop. Looked through quite a bit of the photos of others. I love what I've made, and my chickens seem pretty happy too!!!! I used linoleum inside to help the clean up, 4 nesting boxes for my 5 birds....

no roosters!!! They were very concerned at first- but we keep it very clean!!! and they are quiet. A couple comments here and there- but overall nothing negative.

It looks great! Ours is similar and we're also planning to get 5 chickens. I can't wait to finish it up and move it to the backyard!

I'm in Lynnwood as well. I worry that my neighbors might get a little annoyed at the idea of us having chickens. Lately, as my ladies started laying, they make loud bawks, announcing their egg. Have you had any other comments from your neighbors? I live off of 36th Avenue. Where are you?

NO ROOSTERS!!!

none of my neighbors have complained. I have a nearly half acre back yard but I'm right next to a development on Larch way. Thefew comments we've had has been how relaxing they actually are. Only one of the chickens lets everyone know she's laying an egg. The rest go quietly about their business. But they all lay during the day.
