My marans watch! Possible blue roo (wanted one for a loooong time!)

Hello everyone! I'm super excited and I'll use this thread to document the growth of my marans. They are very young still but I'm gonna make an assumption and we shall see if it holds true. This guy I had originally thought was a black copper maran I think he is a blue. And a rooster at that! Just a feeling. He is black looking but the lower on his body it gets a little bluish. His flight feathers just popped out and they are blue! I'm thinking his colors are gonna be pretty close to the standard!

Maybe I'm just too excited but they don't look black to me more like dark blue. Haha it's okay to be this excited about a chicken right? Lol

So one of my blue marans is a frizzle! Haha

Update on my marans, frizzle looks really cool and the blue hen has stunning color, the one I suspected as a roo is just that but he is black.
