I wanted to share my good news with everyone. My RIR "Rhodes" is finally home after being missing all night!
Last night when my 7 year old daughter was closing the coop up for the night, she was yelling and crying that her chicken Rhodes was missing. After searching for an hour last night and also first thing this morning for her or signs that she was taken by anything, with no results, I knew I had to explain to my daughter that her chicken was not coming home. About a half hour ago I found her on my side porch! She is uninjured and appears to be ok! She is now back in the coop after her advantageous night out!
