I just looked at that baseball bat and I think if you were mine you might look funny running the bases with that bat permanently attached to your arm. I wouldn't want to risk you losing it or having someone else "borrow" it.

I have a wooden bat. Was my son's in Little League. Now, it sits near the back door for an anti-predator weapon.

That is a super nice bat!! It will be several yrs before our 11yo son gets a nice one... Gonna stay cheap for now til we know he is gonna stick with it.
He does have an antique Louisville Slugger bat... He cherishes that thing and when he was younger his friends were over and one of them drew on it when he wasn't in the room, really upset him. He rarely lets anyone in his room now, especially those kids.
