i just got 2 polish creasted chicks, never herd of them untill today!! found a web site about them but it didn't give much info, does any one know what color egg the lay? and how can i tell what color they will become when there older?

Polish are pretty funky birds. They are one of the few crested varietys of standard and are very unique. The lay white/cream eggs. And the most common colors are...
White Crested Black
White
Silver Laced
Golden Laced
Buff Laced

some not so common colors are...
Red tailed black
White Crested Blue
Black Crested White

Could you please describe what the birds look like. Then I might be able to narrow it down some.
Enjoy your top-hatter chickys they are awesome!

one is a light gray, white , little black spots , the other one has a yellow head and black on it's back, i took pic's of them but do not know how to post them on here

the yellow head with black on it's back is probably a White Crested Black Polish.. Here's a pic of mine...does it look similar?

I see...2 White Crest Black Polish. And what looks like a Mottled Houdan. Look them up on Feathersite.com or google. They are another crested standard breed.
