Hi! I have a peacock who mysteriously appeared in my neighborhood almost 3 years ago and I feel that it is in his best interest to be relocated on a ranch with other peacocks and pea hens since he is alone and could be hit by a car or worse (some of my neighbors do not like him). My friend who owns chickens warned me that if he is relocated he may need to be slowly introduced to a colony of peacocks as he could be hurt by the other peacocks and ex-communicated. Is this true? I love this bird so much and only want what is best for him. I live in Ventura County, CA and am thinking maybe a zoo might be better for him. I am worried and need help. Thank you so much.
