my original, failed attempt at posting pics

hi everyone, im glad to have my chicks here! i ordered 6 Buff Orphingtons and 4 Barred Hollands, and they threw in fourteen roosters! they were all in great condition, hatched on Wed, arrived at 7:20am on Thursday! anyways if anyone knows what kind they are, i'd like to know, curiosity is killing me! i think they may be Brahmas??? anyways, what you all came to see... the babies!



OOOOOOKKKKK soooo i wrote that stuff, and uploaded pics on my photobucket and typed up all kinds of stuff, only to learn that i cant post pics because i am so new

anyways i have to say, this backyard chickens website is super addictive! even though this my first post, i have scoured every nook and cranny of this site! lol im almost finished with my coop as well, just needs paint, and wire, i'll have to take a few pics for you guys, its 8x6 coop with an 8 x 12 run... i cant wait to move the chickens in to there forever home soon, but im enjoying them being chicks... my girlfriend says im "obsessed" with them!

the yellow ones are Buff Orpingtons and the black ones are Barred Hollands... the rest are Roo's from the farm

ok so now that i know i can post pics (hehe)... these are a few of the brooder and my new baby chicks... they are 3weeks old now... but only a few days old in the pics

the barred hollands... they are getting prettier by the day

a pic of the inside of the brooder... originally i had a medium size dog kennel, but quickly realized that i need to move them into an XL with 23 chicks!

these are the roos... maybe Bahamas? they look like chipmunks with fuzzy little feet

Congrats on the fuzzy butts!!! This chicken addiction is a fantastic journey. I've been on this road for a year now and am still excited about my flock!

I've never heard of Barred Hollands. They are cute. Where did you order from? Why would they send 13 roosters? EEK!
