My New Babies! [pics]

I just picked up some new babies at the poultry swap in Maryland over the weekend.

They're 5-week-old Guineas. I bought them to help control the ticks and bugs in the yard.

It's so cute watching them run around because they all flock tightly together.

They're adorable! I raised an orphaned guineafowl once - he insisted on roosting on the towel rail in the bathroom and sharing my breakfast.

So sweet! I've never had quineas but DH swears they make good guard dogs.

Yep! Good guard dogs!

I heard guineas do get loud when something or someone approaches (or when a leaf falls off a tree).
