I have a black irredescent female. Hasnt been laying. But I expect her to soon. Wondered what she might be.
I have a red hen that has neck feathers outlines in black. She lays green eggs with brown speckles sometimes.
And a huge red, yellow, orange rooster. Hes gorgeous. He looks like sunshine.

All I was told was they were amercaunas. I assume that translates to EE. I will post pics as quick as I can. Photos are on home computer. Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm thinking the first one is a black australorp and the other girl is an EE.
No clue on the boy. Still hunting. I love BYC. So much info.

The rooster sound like a Buff Orpington, the black one sounds like and Australorp and the redish one is probably an EE.

That's what I'm thinking too. Im doing some research but My roo is very bright, not muted like the pics of the buff orp. He's shades of yellow, orange and golden colors. Like they fade into eatchother. They are all rescue critters.
