My new chicken barn all finished!!!

Hi, I am just new to this site. I have been surfing for plans for coops and runs for 2 weeks. Glad I came here great looking coop. If the weather evers clears and the 4ft. of snow melts, here in western PA, so I can start building my coop and run, I am thinking about orderiing some chicks. Have some good plans for my brooder and have started it already. My question to you is, what do you have scattered on the floor, and where do you get it?

thanks everyone for the replys. the chickens luv it and so do i. i had it built by a guy that builds sheds and garages for a living.only took him a week usually he can build a shed that size in a day or 2 but where i had the gambrel roof it took a little longer . he mostly builds right on your sight and also finances low monthy payments what a deal. i thought.

Beautiful! Lots of natural light, lots of space, good looking nests, good places for food...

How have you solved the temperature and ventilation issues?

I'd love to have a pic of the roost, as well as some description of how you built this lovely thing.
