I got some new chicks today. these are a pic of a few of them. they where hatched yesterday, I got 6
ISA Browns. 6 califonia gray leg horns, 4 bantams.
The bannys are really little,, We have 39 meat chicks out side in the barn, that are 4 weeks old. I figure these 12 layers will be ready for the coop, when the meat chickens are in the freezer.
The coop can be split by 1/4 for the hens if needed, it is 6 ft wide and 16 ft long, Plus a yard of 15 x 16 . so there is more than enough room if I need to make some.. I want the "mc nuggets" to be 7-8# at the end.
well we will see..Can't count your chicks before they are hatched..
